What I can do is to provide some pointers to docs and then suggest you to bring this to the mailing list.

Now, as you are working with NetCDF you would have to use 2.6.x rather than 2.5.x.

You developed very nice thing for geoserver and coverage view one of that!
Could you explain how to create a new coverage multiband view (like it shown here https://www.geosolutionsgroup.com/blog/overageview-concept-for-geoserver/) but using curl and rest interface?
for example, I have this command:
curl -v -u user:user -XPUT -H ‘Content-type: application/zip’ –data-binary @file.zip http://localhost:8080/geoserver/rest/workspaces/name/coveragestores/netcdf-store3/file.netcdf

What should I add here to take several coverages out of this NetCDF file and compose it as one multiband coverage view as it possible using web-interface?
