This is a very neat way of creating/editing metadata. I can see why the source data in shape file format is the only option available (can be uploaded to GeoNode). Any plans to make it work with GML files? Really this should have been the first option. I understand that somehow shp is considered de-facto industry standard but GML shouldn’t come second. Going further, I usually source data from databases (Oracle and PostgreSQL, either directly or WFS through GeoServer), again, any plans to make metatools work with these sources? Does anyone know a practical workflow to create metadata this way?
